Jocko Toic is a Certified Financial Planner and has achieved the CDFA (Certified Divorce Financial Analyst) designation. A CDFA is trained to help determine the short and long term financial impact of a proposed divorce settlement using powerful proprietary software, offer valuable insight into the pros and cons of different settlement proposals, help avoid the common financial pitfalls of divorce and create personalized reports illustrating financial status, cash flow and net worth of both parties.
He is also a CH.P (Chartered Professional of Strategic Wealth) which is financial planning designed for higher net worth clients.
Jocko has joined the Okanagan Collaborative Family Law Group as a financial neutral to help people find resolution with their financial issues during separation and divorce. Learning from personal experience, Jocko believes that the Collaborative process offers many benefits including reduced emotional and financial costs.
Jocko had relocated from Southern Ontario 7 years ago where he was involved in Agribusiness for 30 years. He managed a large operation with up to 50 employees and with many variables. He learned early that analysis, assessment and risk management is important to be able to achieve success. It is this great life experience that brings value to clients today.
When he is not working, Jocko enjoys golfing on many of the beautiful golf courses in the Okanagan valley.
