Ron is a lawyer practicing in Kelowna, British Columbia in the area of family, employment and personal injury law. After graduating from the University of British Columbia, Ron was called to the Bar in 1975, and worked for the first two years of his practice as a staff lawyer for the Legal Services Society.
Ron took his first mediation course in 1985 and started doing family law mediation after that time. Since that time he has built an extensive mediation practice in the area of personal injury, family and civil disputes.
Ron is the Chair of the board of the Continuing Legal Education Society of British Columbia. He is a Chartered Mediator with the ADR Institute of Canada, and serves as a member of the panel of the Canadian Dispute Resolution Corporation, the Insurance Dispute Resolution Services of British Columbia, and the British Columbia Mediation Roster. He was a member of the ADR Working Group for the Law Society of British Columbia. Ron has coached in the past for both the Justice Institute of B.C., and the Continuing Legal Education Society. He has offered workshops for the British Columbia Arbitration and Mediation Institute on the role of the lawyer in the mediation process.
